With over six decades of family history in dentistry, Steven Koda, a Certified Dental Technician (CDT), started Artistic Smile Dental Studio in 1987.
Carrying on the tradition set forth by his father, a dentist and a technician, Steven's objective remains constant: through technical advancements and continuing education, the relationship between the laboratory and the clinician is strengthened, which ultimately achieves clinical success and patient satisfaction.
Steven's lifetime achievements are a reflection of his roots in dentistry. He received his CDT in 1996, became a member of the prestigious Tennyson Study Club in 1998, graduated from LVI Smile Design in February 2006, graduated from Lee Culp's IOAD Advanced Sirona inLab in June 2006, and over the past 26 years has been developing his ceramic technique further by continuing his educational training from some of the country's most sought after clinicians including: Willy Geller, Dr. Robert Winter, Dr. Mark Friedman, Uve Hinrichan, Bob Burger, and many others. His latest achievement is a certification in CAD/CAM materials such as inLab/YZ and the IPS e.max® and completing a course on aesthetic veneering by Dr. Ed McLaren at UCLA.
In keeping with the primary objective, Artistic Smile Dental Studio offers numerous CE clinics at its facility in Northridge, CA; employs experienced technicians who can assist dentists with their case planning, restoration alternatives, and technical questions; and boasts customer service teams who are dedicated to upholding the highest levels of customer care possible.
